“shake the silence” places participation, encounter, and community at the heart of its artistic inquiry. Over the course of three months, 36 participants aged between 22 and 78 developped together with the artistic team, forms of communication through movement while exploring the question: What is a collective, peaceful body?
The Freiburg Institute for Peace Education contributes knowledge and perspectives from peace research, enriching the creative process. Together with the participants, Klockow and her artistic team develop a dance performance for the main stage of E-WERK Freiburg. In dialogue with the electronic and acoustic soundscape of percussionist Moritz Sasowski, a vibrant performative space emerges—one that explores the social dimension of dance as an art form.
